This is a rare opportunity to acquire a well-maintained, high-specification Warble narrow boat with a professionally designed interior, in exceptionally good condition.
Whisper is fitted with a constant speed cocooned diesel engine driving the prop via a hydraulic gearbox with a trolling-valve mechanism to control prop shaft speed. A number of fundamental design decisions underpinned her final specification, the most significant being: Gasless - Extremely quiet operation - "Go anywhere" dimensions - Facilities for extended cruising and working on-board - Comfortable winter cruising - Maximum space utilization.
Whisper has a boat safety certificate to 2019 and has been blacked in September 2015. She is sold with a new structural survey complete in September 2015

Both tables being foldable allowing for lounge chairs to be situated instead in this area. A single Comfy chair is located aft in the saloon. To port a shelf unit is fitted. Low level radiator to the port and starboard sides of the boat give excellent heat to this cabin The saloon benefits from excellent natural light by the way of 3 barge type windows all featuring an opening hopper for ventilation.
The galley situated aft of the saloon with 3 cupboards to the port side, a fridge and upper and lower sliding storage for foodstuffs. The work top is finished in dark laminate with a solid wood edge capping and an inset self-coloured sink with drainer to one side and facility for waste disposal. To the starboard side further storage cupboards, a dishwasher and full domestic electric double oven and grill with 4 ring 240 volt induction hob. Over the worktops are wall units with glazed cupboard doors with internal concealed lighting for glass storage. Aft of the main galley units more storage facilities in baskets, drawers and a microwave oven being located here to starboard. Opposite to port a cupboard which when opened gives access to the domestic sized washing machine and tumble dryer. Adjacent to this a start point for the Engine / Generator which powers all the domestic white goods and cooking facilities and also runs a hydraulic gearbox and drive shaft giving propulsion.
SHOWER AND TOILET ROOM
Located amidships in Whisper and with a closable fronted toilet room featuring an electric silent flush macerator toilet connected to black waste tank, shower of very large proportions with double sized sliding door all located to port. Opposite to starboard a ceramic wash basin with cupboards and open shelves adjacent and below. A full length mirror gives an excellent feeling of space and is very practical. The entire toilet and shower room can be closed off giving a full width area when being used. Frosted glass window with a privacy venetian blind and two ventilators all ensure the area has good airflow.
A very spacious cabin with king sized double berth (5’10” x 6’ 03”) below which the generator is located in a cocooned sound proofed box for exceptionally quiet running. The bed being fitted with two separate Ikea Sultan memory foam mattresses making a spacious double berth rarely found on this style of vessel, being easily moveable to give access to the aft study and deck when needed. At the end of the berth a full floor to ceiling double wardrobe with two sets of 4 drawer units adjacent. Shelves located to the head of the berth together with light points, heating controls and the stereo. Port lights, a window and overhead hatch all give the cabin a homely ambience. A radiator located to the starboard side. Access doors to the aft made in a stable door design(with 5-lever security lock to create secure rear area) so the top section can be opened with the bed in place.
Situated between the aft deck and the master cabin and fitted with a work station to port with ample shelving and storage units. Adjacent to this region is access to the electrical systems and aft deck. When the aft doors and hatch are open the rear access becomes part of the rear deck with a standing lean seat to starboard. 4 steps lead from the Study to the rear deck, below the rear deck access to the weed hatch and heating system and 4 x 190ah batteries.
The design of Whisper was for her to make use of her on board engine / generator to give both domestic power and propulsion. This has enabled the maximum amount of space to be handed to accommodation by utilisation of a hydraulic gearbox and shaft to have a universal joint enabling the drive to be situated away from the Gear box allowing the accommodation to make full use of where an engine would usually be sited. This design coming from a number of fundamental decisions underpinning her final specification, the most significant being: Gasless - Extremely quiet operation - "Go anywhere" dimensions - Facilities for extended cruising and working on-board - Comfortable winter cruising - Maximum space utilization.
