"Fiona IV" is 33ft loa. and was built in 1985 by a local boatbuilder Her hull is cold-moulded mahogany completely sheathed with Cascover nylon. The superstructure is teak and decks are laid teak.
She is moored on the Thames near Hampton Court and has cruised extensively on the East Coast as far as the Firth of Forth.
The main engine is a 5-cylinder 75bhp Volkswagen Marine diesel giving excellent fuel economy. At 5 knots it uses 1.7lts per hour. Travelpower fitted to this engine gives 3.5kw of 240v power at the flick of a switch.
Also fitted is a 9hp Yanmar wing engine with a separate shaft and folding propeller.
Autopilot is installed, as well as GPS and 2 echo sounders.
The wheelhouse and accommodation are fitted out in soljd teak; no veneer has been used. The forecabin has 2 berths, galley and a toilet/shower compartment. The aft cabin is currently used as a utility area but could be converted into 2 berths.
A Webasto warm air heater is fitted.
The Boat Safety Certificate is valid until the end of 2018.
