Built in by the Jupiter shipyard, Denmark in 1974 to a Knud Olsen design. Blue GRP displacement hull with white coachroof and decks with non-slip surfaces. Rubber rubbing strakes. Wheel steering to twin rudders. 'Macaret' underwent a major overhaul in 1999 including epoxy coating the hull beneath the waterline, rebuilt engines, modern electronics and more. Since then she has been regularly enjoyed and even took part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant as a working rescue boat. Thanks to the sea kindly hull, naturally aspirated engines and low air draft she has proved herself equally well suited to sea or river cruising and very economical burning approximately 5 litres per hour at cruising speed.
