This Nauticat 515 was the Southampton Boat Show boat 2007. Fittingly, Frank Rothwell the current owner was awarded with the "Polar Bear of the Year 2012" award at this years Southampton Boat Show having completed his adventure by sailing this Nauticat 515 through the Northwest passage in a WEST to EAST direction.
The start was from Seattle on the 23.6.2012 and Frank and his crew (4 people onboard) were back in Scotland on the 15th of September 2012. His Nauticat 515 was ordered and built for this specific journey. The inventory fits this purpose and enables this this quality yacht to take on any adventure.
I bought this boat with an adventure in mind and trusted the design and quality build to achieve it.This yacht was chosen, designed and it's comprehensive specification put together to do the North West passage.
We completed the North West Passage in 2012 and touched 'zero' ice during the passage!
In all respects she did us proud.
We look forward to welcoming you to Kip Marina
