Have for sale 1975 Broom Ocean 37 twin screw 175hp diesel cruiser B.S.S to April 2016,this boat would make an IDEAL LIVE ABOARD or great family cruiser. Has been converted to give airdraft of approx 8ft 2 inch,takes approx 20 minutes to prepare and approx 30 min to reconfigure, she is regularly taken through the Beeston canal through Nottingham to reach the Trent.
She has a large inventory of accessories and equipment,in the port side galley there is a 4 ring full size cooker fitted 2014, built in above is a microwave and extractor fan, to the side and full length of the galley is a work surface with 3 large cupboards below, a 240v/12v under counter deep freeze or chiller box,and the counter has inset stainless steel sink with h/c mixer tap,and below to forward a 3 way fridge,replaced 2014.
The salon consists of a c shape dinette with free standing fold down teak table to port, and to starboard the lower steering position behind which there are inset louvered cupboardsx3,a drinking glass rack and 3 drawers. The rear of the salon consists of starboard side nav station with fold down chart table, with book rack above with inset vhf radio and navtex pro plus.
The accomodation consists of a fore and aft cabin, the fore consisting of 2x single berths,dressing unit,hanging wardrobe,drawers and floor cubby, and ensuite shower and manual toilet, The rear cabin consists of 1x double berth berth and 1x single. again it has a hanging wardrobe and ensuite shower and electric toilet, there are 2x cupboards and 3 drawers sited below the berths.
The companion way from salon to rear cabin has a hanging cupboard with vented floor to bilge for wet gear storage.
Upstairs from the salon is the upper steering position with full instruments,stainless steering wheel,trim tab adjusters, swivel arm chair,twin morse controls,vhf radio,shorepower connection and 12v plug. at the rear of the deck are 2x seats with under storage and in the port seat 2x gas bottles and bubble tester, to port there is also a side seat,with storage under.
Outside at the stern there are 2x teak bathing platforms with extending stainless steel bathing ladder between,davits above, on the stern rail there are 2x2 stainless steel fender baskets the stainless rail extending all around the vessel the decks are covered in treadmaster blue diamond, which was cleaned and painted with treadmaster paint July 2014, midships there are P&S boarding gates and moving to the bows there is a manual anchor winch with anchor with 53mtrs of chain in locker,bow roller and 2x2 stainless fender baskets. To the cabin sides are quality teak hand rails, and on the roof is the mast, she has full navigation lights fitted the anchor light being converted to l.e.d.
Over the past 2yrs there has been a lot of work done on her, which includes new stern glands and packing, port side cutlass bearings replaced, new floor covering to upper deck, new carpets throughout and salon curtains, the original webasto heater has been replaced in 2013 with a overhauled eberspacher d5lc, serviced sept 2014(£175),all fire extinguishers seviced and stickered 2014.
She also has a Fischer Panda Diesel generater serviced sept 2014 plus new impellar encased in own enclosure.
At the stern there are heavy duty alloy davits with ropes and pulleys, below these there are twin stainless steel and teak bathing platforms and from the centre stern hangs a stainless steel extendable below water line boarding ladder. on the stern rail there are twin double fender baskets one each side and a rail mounted outboard bracket. Below the water line there are Trim tabs operated from both steering positions and on both shafts Spurs rope cutters.
Forward is a manual anchor winch with rope and chain gypsies,alloy bow roller and 35kg anchor on swivels with 53 plus meters of chain which is stored in a chain locker below deck attached.Also P&S twin stainless fender baskets
Topsides she has two aerials, port one for fm radio in salon,starboard one for upper deck vhf,also has twin stainless air horns. On the cabin roof is a large teak mast with steaming and anchor light attached held by alloy tabernacle and stainless guy ropes
Below decks her inventary is worth mentioning firstly she has hot and cold presurized water to all basins and showers,provided by a calorifier heated by engines or 1kw or 2kw(or 3kw both on together) 240v immersion heaters
There are two banks of batteries 1 for engines 2 batteries linked together for 24v and the other4 for house 2x2 banks connectable, all batteries new as of July 2014, charging via engine alternators or 20 amp sterling battery management unit situated in rear heads cupboard when plugged ashore or running the Fischer Panda diesel generator, there is also a 600watt inverter fitted should you not want to run the generator,in the 24v circuit there is fitted a galvanic isolater.All anodes were replaced 2013 and checked sept 2014.
Situated under the dinette with the generator is the Eberspacher D5lc heater with outlets to all cabins, these both run from their own 18 gallon diesel tank.
Situated at both steering positions are the auto pilot operating controls with the gyro compass forward under the front cabin sole.
In the galley there is a four ring full size cooker with flame fail fitted,fitted sept 2013,above which there is a fitted microwave,and below the work top is a freezer/chiller box 240/12v and below the counter top is a 3 way 240/12v or gas fridge fitted 2014.
In the main salon there are:- sony radio cd player,brass clock and matching barometer,ships pattern.
There are engine manuals,a folder containing a set of equipment instructions,plus tank drawings and specs,wiring diagrams and water pipe layout. .
