Countess Centre Cockpit Ketch, moulded by Colvic in 1984. Good condition throughout with beautiful teak interior. This has been in the same ownership for 25 years and has been a wonderful family sailing boat which has carried us safely on many cruises to Brittany and Holland . There is an amazing amount of accommodation fitted into the 33ft hull including Saloon, dedicated chart table and seat, separate double cabins with ensuite heads and 3 more single berths. Warm air Webasto central heating keeps it all very cosy. The peninsular galley is designed to be safe to use in all weathers and angles of heel and includes twin hob, grill, oven , top opening fridge/freezer and microwave. The Bosuns locker which is accessed from aft cabin or cockpit houses gas locker, Webasto heater, fridge compressor, plus a work bench and vice and ample stowage for an outboard motor, spares, sheets etc. Two bow deck lockers are used to stow warps, fenders, spare anchor etc. The twin keels allow access to remote tidal Brittany coves and enables hull cleaning and antifouling to be undertaken on the slipway. She sails well and has a very sea-kindly hull with a good deep vee bow and deep keels. No slamming through thewaves. The Volvo 35HP MD17 engine pushes her along at 7 knots max, 5-6 knots cruising. She was epoxied when we first bought her but has had few blisters for a number of years but these show no signs of getting any worse. Sails include Main, Mizzen and furling Genoa (all white now not tan as in photo), Cruising Chute and Mizzen Staysail. email for more photos.
