1984 - Following the success of the Parkstone Bay 21, designer Len Mitchell created the Sea King 28, combining the sea keeping abilities of the 21 with a greater degree of luxury and comfort. She's a superb boat for cruising and fishing with a huge cockpit & all-over canopy on stainless frame which can be rolled up to form a bimini sun shade. Powered by twin Mercedes 42HP diesel engines with less than 600 hours use, on shafts to 3-bladed props. Accomodation includes sleeping for four with 2 in the forecabin vee-berth and 2 on the converting dinette. The galley includes a cooker with twin hob, grill and oven, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, and a fridge. Generous heads compartment with Jabsco sea toilet and hand wash basin. Anchor on windlass with chain, fenders, boarding ladder.

Four 12v batteries (2 domestic, 2 cranking) charged by engine alternators.
Twin Mercedes OM 636 diesel engines developing 42HP each at 3300rpm driving 16" props on 1" shafts. Cruises comfortably at 7 knots, fuel consumption 0.75 gal. per hour per engine at cruising speed. 40 gallon water tank.
Furnished in hardwood and finished to the highest standard. Forward cabin - two V-berths with 4" cushions, stowage under and steps to forward hatch. Heads with flushing sea toilet and basin with pumped water. Main saloon with dinette to port converting to double berth & stowage under. Galley to starboard with two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, s/s sink, and fridge.
