    Swordsman - 30

This is a fine example of the Swordsman 30. Built in 2004, she doesn’t show her age having been fastidiously maintained. Based on the successful Fairey Spearfish design, this modern version outshines the original.

The Swordsman 30 is a great boat for Coastal cruising and long weekends. She can sleep 4 comfortably and the cockpit is large enough to entertain more.

In addition to a spray hood, she has a full cockpit cover, a tonnaeu cover and an all over winter cover that covers the decks and half way down the topsides. This can be left on when afloat keeping her in pristine condition all year long.

This boat is current owned in a company and she can be sold ex VAT for export outside EU tax zone or with a VAT invoice for a VAT registered company purchase.

    Owner's comments

She is a joy to handle once one has mastered the differences of water jet propulsion! She will turn in her own length, stop from full power in three lengths and can be maneuvered in any direction including sideways without a bow thruster.

As there is nothing under the hull she is safe to navigate at night in in shore waters and I have never experienced any problems requiring assistance in over 7000 NM over 10 years. She can also happily take the ground and creep into less than 1 metre of water.

I bought Matchless on the basis that I would keep her for ever and have maintained her with the same intention. In 2013, however, I acquired a Swordsman 40 and whilst I would like to keep both, it is simply not practical as these boats must be used to maintain them in good condition. Since moving to the Kent/Sussex border to farm I have less time for boating and it is therefore time for others to have the opportunity to enjoy this magnificent and beautiful fast launch.

The current mooring at Mercury Marina may be available for transfer and attracts a 20% discount due to the shallow draft.
