Drascombe Dabber, Hull: The Dabber has an entirely different type of hull, cleverly based on the tough clink built beach boats of the past, with thier long straight keels. Rowing is very easy indeed and outboards of the lowest power are all you need to drive the boat. Durable: The attractive and seaworthy little Dabber is also tough enough for seriuos inshore fishing from tidal beaches. Her GRP hull is well protected from bumps and bangs by the tough hardwood keel and bilge rails, both of which are easily renewed. The aft locker, open stowage and positive bouyancy are other Dabber pluses as are the level floorbaords, well above any bilge-water. Sailing: The standard boat has oars and rowlocks and the fixed hull fittings needed for sailing. The Dabber is a surprisingly roomy family craft and has plenty of storage space. The bouyancy, a feature of all Drascombes, ensures that your Dabber cannot sink. The Dabber can be covered and left on a mooring or hitched up behind a car; with a Drascombe, flexibility is the key.
