This Dufour 35 Fin Keel Sail boat was built in 1978. & unlike a majority of her counterparts she has never been used for charter. With her 8 berths and huge saloon seating, complimented by good size galley and separate heads, this yacht has accommodation akin to a much larger vessel. She also has a good size navigation station and electronics including radar, plotter, GPS, and wind instruments. On deck, she has wide, safe side decks, a good sized cockpit with synthetic teak decking and tiller steering. She is powered by a Beta 37.5 HP engine that was new and fitted in 2006. This is a well designed & built yacht with plenty of accommodation for safe comfortable cruising. She is currently lying in Southampton.

This Dufour 35 fin keel yacht provides a huge amount of space and accommodation for a boat of her size. Having had only 2 owners from new, with her current keeper having owned her for nearly 35 years she is a boat that has clearly been loved as part of the family. This particular Dufour 35 has the huge advantage of having had a new Beta 37.5 HP engine fitted in 2006 which has done less than 400 hours and is more powerful than the original. She has the ability to sleep 8 crew and her expansive saloon means there is room for everyone around the table. She also has a good sized galley and separate heads. It is fair to say that her 70’s patterned upholstery is not to everyone’s taste, but that shouldn’t detract from all the positives that this boat has to offer. This boat was featured in a December 2012 article in Sailing Today Magazine in which she was described as “ A very solid seaboat & offers a lot of space and pretty broad cruising horizons for a sensible outlay”.
With her quality build & spacious accommodation, this Dufour 35 offers everything you could need for fun sailing around coastal waters whilst being very capable of cruising further afield. She has plenty of onboard space for safe & fun cruising with family & friends. She is currently lying in Southampton & viewing is highly recommended
