Purchased in 2004 from original owner when Archy was 5 years old. She had hardly been used (headsail was still in bag and unused). We used the boat on average five or six times a season for five years, but she has been little use for the past five years although we have visited regularly to check condition and carry out routine maintenance.
"Archy's" lines and Etap's unique tandem keel make her a very responsive and nippy yet comfortable boat to sail. Whilst "Archy" comfortably accommodates four people for day/overnight cruising, the furling and self-tacking jib and the instruments added in 2005 mean she can be sailed single handed from the cockpit and steered by the autopilot and smart controller from anywhere on the boat
