Jaguar - 21 CR
The Jaguar 21, designed by John Mullins, as was the 23, was built from 1978 to the late nineties. It was available as a fin or lift keel version. Most were the latter. The fin has a 4’ draft, & both variants are competitive in club racing
The accommodation is open plan with 4 berths, a decent galley forward of the port berth, & adequate headroom. The keel case, is not intrusive, & does not restrict access to the forward berths. Storage is plentiful, under the berths as well as the cockpit area.
The cockpit is well designed for 4 adults, & there is easy access forward along the wide side decks. The stern has a well for the 4hp Mercury Outboard Engine.
The 21 has an easily managed fractional rig, & is renowned for vice free performance, enabling both racers, cruisers, & the inexperienced to get a lot of enjoyment.
This boat has now been fully valeted and now comes with a twin axle launching trailer.
Jaguar 21 CR
Mercury four stroke 4hp Outboard (just serviced)
Gas Cooker x 2 Burners with Grill
Internal water tank
Sloop rigged with slab reefing on the Main + sail cover
Lightweight Spinnaker + Pole
Twin axle Trailer
This Jaguar 21 CR would make an excellent Club Racer or a pocket Coastal Cruiser, she hasn't been messed about with and has just had her pre-season valet.
The mainsail looks very good for a few more years and the Genoa needs a clean but is serviceable, the engine has only just been serviced and starts on the pull.
Internally she is well laid out, all in a good clean presentable condition and for this budget she does represent very good value for money.
Couple all this with the lifting keel, great engine this has to be a boat to enjoy.
