    On Deck

    The “cockpit” area aft has two lockers/upholstered seats.

    Navigational Equipment

    Full sized (bigger than folded Admiralty chart) chart table with large chart stowage beneath. Night-time chart light.

    Steering compass. There is a small compass outside at the “cockpit” steering position.

    Furuno “black box” system fitted 2009, consisting of the black box itself, which controls the GPS, fluxgate compass, chart plotter software and radar, displaying them on the monitor mounted at the for’d end of the chart table in the wheelhouse. The radar is 24” closed scanner and has inbuilt ARP capability. The plotter handles C-Map mega wide cartridges.

    Autohelm instrumentation for depth, boat speed and wind direction/speed. There is a tri data display outside in the “cockpit” area.

    Autohelm automatic pilot controls, both in wheelhouse and outside in the “cockpit” area.

    NASA Target Navtex receiver.

    Fixed VHF (2009) – Icom type IC-M421 (with DSC capability). “Cockpit” speaker fitted.

    Hand held VHF (2009) – Icom type IC-M31

    Broadcast receiver.

    Mechanics

    Usual range of instrumentation (rpm, engine hours, fuel tanks, oil pressures, voltages, charging amps) mounted in wheelhouse above for’d facing windows.

    Both tanks professionally cleaned out 2009. Since then, fuel treatment additive used whenever re-fuelling. No trace of diesel “bug”. Flexible fuel hoses replaced 2009. Fuel cut off/change over valve beneath step into aft cabin. Approx 550 litres of usable fuel (tanks nominally 650 litres) giving range of 850 NM at 1600 rpm – approx 6 knots. Tanks aproximately half full with white diesel.

    Vetus bow thruster fitted, with controls at both steering positions.

    Rope cutter fitted 2008.

    Stern gland and rudder stock greasers fitted.

    Main engine Ford Lehman SP90 (90 HP). Engine hours 3158. Regularly serviced according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Heat exchanger cleaned 2011. Oil cooler replaced 2012. New exhaust elbow (raw water injection) fitted 2011. Water hoses and hydraulic hoses replaced 2009 – 2011. Morse combined throttle/gear selector at both steering positions (wheelhouse and “cockpit”)

    Gear box. regularly serviced according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Oil cooler replaced 2009. Gear selector cable replaced 2011.

    Electrics

    12 volt DC electrics

    One engine (start) battery (wet sealed) 170Ah (2009)

    Two domestic (house) batteries (wet sealed) 2 x 180Ah (2011)

    Power gauge Lite battery monitor system (2012)

    Engine mounted 90 amp alternator (2009) (up-rated from 70 amp alternator also on board as spare).

    Sterling 1230 CED battery charger (2009)

    Rutland 913 wind generator (2009)

    Solara solar panels – 2 x SM220S/M55 (2009)

    HRDX charge controller/regulator – to control output from wind generator and solar panels - (2009)

    240 volt AC electrics

    Shore power connection which feeds fused (breakers) distributing to a) battery charger, b) ring main, c) immersion heater in FW calorifier (also heated by engine cooling water).

    Safety

    Inside – fire extinguishers and galley fire blanket. ACR EPIRB Model number RLB-32 ( Battery requires replacement ). Manual and automatic electric bilge pumps.

    Outside – two horse-shoe buoys and lights, and one dan buoy and drogue. One six man Lifeguard life-raft. (Due a service).

    General

    Pressurised (Pump 2009) hot and cold water system to both heads and galley.

    Black water holding tank from both heads via diverter valves. Deck pump out facility as well as electric pump out discharge. All installed 2008.

    240v ring main with UK style (13a square pin) sockets in all cabins

    All internal lights changed to “warm” LED’s 2009

    Mikuni MY30 heater with three outlets. Installed 2008

    For’d – 45 lb CQR anchor in bow roller, with 80 metres chain. Lofrans Tigris windlass with gypsy and drum. Windlass control solenoids changed 2011.

    Aft – Danforth type anchor with 40 metres chain and 40 metres rope. Stern roller.

    Fenders – eight by 300mm diameter cylindrical (2011) and one by 600 mm diameter round fenders.

    Usual complement of warps. One by 100m 16mm floating rope.

    Avon inflatable dinghy – type R2.6 with air deck (2008)

    Outboard motor – type Suzuki DF 2.5 (2008)

    Gas bottle locker takes three standard Camping Gas bottles.

    Gang plank (passarelle) with three sockets (two for’d and one aft) fixed on boat to accept omni-directional prong.
