It is estimated that a new build to this professional & detailed standard would today cost some 70,000 pounds.
Full specialist survey performed for insurance purposes at completion of build: available for perusal, as are the plans and lots more photo's of build, plus two positive articles-one in Americas wooden boat magazine about the design and the others in Water Craft about the building and a sailing test by Judy Brickhill. This is much like you would be buying a brand new yacht by the time we have readied her for each season. A real plus using modern materials in combination with a traditional build is that there really is not much more maintenance than a factory built plastic yacht. It is unlikely that you would ever find a the same kind of yacht as this at any boatshows, especially as the the build cost would be so high.
If interested for export, she is both trailerable, can be made to fit in a 20ft container, or we would be willing to sail/ trailer her ourselves to most parts of Europe.
