Douglas Marine Limited is a family-owned business which owns and runs Douglas Boatyard, a traditional working boatyard situated on the tidal River Douglas, at Hesketh Bank, near Preston in West Lancashire.
The boatyard is accessible by boat from the Irish Sea, from the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, and from the Lancaster Canal via the Ribble Link. It is also easily found by road. (See our find out more page on the Douglas Marine Limited web site.)
