Tarleton Boatyard is situated on the Leeds Liverpool Canal at the end of the Rufford Link. At the end of the canal is the Tarleton Lock which now offers the the opportunity to link the Leeds/ Liverpool Canal down the river to a further 42 miles of the Lancaster Canal. A link that is proving very popular with narrow boats. Safety facilities are of paramount importance to boyh the boatyard and the Britih Waterways. The Lock is manned to assist with an easy passage into the river Douglas.
The boatyard offers full repair and fabrication facilities, Engine maintenance and sandblasting and epoxy coating of narrowboat and widebeam hulls. Full details and prices on request.
