Team Origin, the British team gearing up for entry in the 33rd and 34th America's Cup, is to appear at the Southampton and London Boat Shows. Attendees of both shows will have the opportunity to examine the newly liveried GBR 75 America's Cup race training boat and meet the team. Andrew Williams, managing director of National Boat Shows, said: "We are proud to be announcing this exclusive partnership between National Boat Shows, the British Marine Federation and Team Origin. "The bid is a hugely exciting prospect for British sailing and we're delighted to be supporting them at both the Southampton Boat Show and London Boat Show at ExCEL." It is hoped that the appearance at the show will garner public support for the team and increase awareness of its participation in the challenge. Sir Keith Mills, who is financing the team's challenge, added: "Featuring our first fully liveried Team Origin race training boat at the Southampton Boat Show is the perfect platform to gain the public's support behind our bid for sailing glory."
