Boatshed is the only used yacht brokers to personally visit and photograph every boat for sale, listing them on a highly technologically advanced website for people to view.  The owner of Boatshed Bristol is Ant Sawyer who is widely experienced with all types of boats and even before he launched, managed to sell two boats in Bristol to much praise from the owners.  Ant is also an athlete, currently preparing for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in his chosen discipline of Skeleton bob.

Ant’s passion for boats is matched only by his passion for sport and he and his girlfriend Lucy (hepatathlete and Gladiator ‘Tempest’) are shining examples of driven and dedicated athletes.  Ant hopes to transfer that enthusiasm to Boatshed Bristol saying “I know how much people love their boats.  Buying and selling a boat can be a time consuming and a complicated business but the way that I work, by personally visiting and photographing every boat that I sell, means that both owners and purchasers can be assured of a personal service.  Boatshed is unique in the yacht brokerage world in that every boat on my books, I will have been on so I understand if the bilges are a bit dirty or the weather vane is a stunner.  And I hope that I can use my knowledge and understanding of winning in world class sport to make sure I always do the best job for all of my customers.”

Ant continues “Each day is different as there are so many types of boat out there.  From river boats to commercial vessels via powerboats and hand-built wooden clinkers, having a passion for the water is something that we at Boatshed understand,” he said.

Boatshed was set up in 1999 and now has 65 offices around the world with over 210,000 registered users of the websites.  Leisure, commercial and performance boats are all personally visited and photographed by a trained broker with up to 70 photographs of each boat appearing on the website.
