A large British contingent will be taking part in the second round of the JPMorgan Asset Management Winter Challenge Series this weekend.
The event, which will see some top draw grade three match racing, takes place at the Queen Mary Sailing Club in Staines.
Andrew Cornah, from West Kirby, who is ranked 29th in the ISAF Open Match Race table, is the top seed at the regatta, although Londoner Christian Hamilton, ranked 36th in the world, will provide some stiff competition.
The foreign contingent is led by number 62 in the world, Victor Lanier of France, while in the women's category, Swede and world number nine, Jenny Axhede is expected to engage in a tough battle with Britain's Josie Gibson, who is one place ahead of her in the world rankings.
All competitors are looking to secure their place at the season ending finale in March.
