SOS for RNLI

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is asking members of the public to respond to its own cry for help in the run up to RNLI SOS day on January 25th.

Figures just released by the charity show that this summer alone, RNLI lifeboats were launched over 3,500 times throughout June, July and August and RNLI lifeguards aided nearly 8,500 people on beaches during the same period, while crews also rescued over 200 people during the devastating flooding.
