Don't miss these dazzling debuts at PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014
The spectacular PSP Southampton Boat Show is just a few weeks away! Every September this world famous celebration of all things marine attracts visitors, exhibitors and investors from all over the world. So between 12th and 21st September there’s a lot going on!
People of all walks of life are descending on Southampton’s Mayflower Park, to discover what the marine industry has to offer them. New boats tend to deliver the wow factor, and this year there are plenty of gleaming new yachts, motor boats, catamarans and RIBs for us to feast our eyes on! Around the show’s 2 km of pontoons you will find over 300 boats including 50 World, European and UK brand new boat launches.
Of course all exhibitors have interesting news and views about the leisure marine industry, and great products to introduce you to. Visitors are even given the opportunity to climb aboard and trial a selection of boats on the Solent for free.
In case you’ve been wondering which stunners are lined up to delight the crowds at PSP Southampton Boat Show this year, here is just a selection of debuts you won’t want to miss.
Debut Boats at Southampton
Sunseeker Manhattan 65 and 86 Yacht
Sunseeker's all-new Manhattan 65 will be pride of place – making her World Debut at the show, and no doubt attracting the attention of the global media as well as delighting visitors. The fourth model in the Manhattan line-up, the 65 sits between the 63ft and the 73ft models, giving clients another size and price option.
Also at Southampton Boat Show, a UK debut we can feast our eyes on (fresh from its World Debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival), is a totally new Sunseeker design, the 86 Yacht. Being billed as ‘an instant classic’ the 86 Yacht can reach a top speed of approximately 30 knots, with guests able to experience an exhilarating open-air ride from the glamorous flybridge.
Princess 68, S72 and the 2014 Princess 60
Princess Yachts International are set for another impactful Southampton Boat Show September with the UK Launch of the all new Princess S72 and the 2014 Princess 60. You'll also witness the world debut of the much anticipated Princess 68 - a four-cabin, 34 knot yacht that can't fail to delight the crowds.
The new Princess S72 features a sleek and aggressive exterior styling. With dark wraparound superstructure glass and angled hull windows to the raked profile, the Princess S72 delivers super-cool attitude.
Princess Yachts have also updated the Princess 60 flybridge yacht for the 2014 season, so now is your chance to get close and personal with this stunning, high performance yacht.
Hanse 455 and 505
The brand new Hanse 505 makes its World Premier at Southampton Boat Show this year, so why not take the opportunity to explore it?
This cruising yacht is billed as being the perfect option for the experienced sailor - sleek, stylish and easy to handle. You can also enjoy the highly acclaimed remodeled Hanse 445. In total 7 Hanses will be on display from the 2014/15 range.
Draco 26 Sport
Making its UK debut at this show with Windy Boats is this clever, versatile and robust sports weekender packed with features.
Renowned Dubois Naval Architects in Hampshire, England, is responsible for the design. The length is 26ft - available with a range of powerful Yamaha outboard options. See the Draco 26 Sport make its UK Debut at the show at Stand/Berth: M115.
Quicksilver Activ 805 Cruiser
Here’s an interesting UK debut from Quicksilver. The Activ 805 Cruiser is a luxury performance cruiser, which has multiple configurations depending on how you’re going to use it – perhaps family trips, watersports, or fishing.
Its excellent sea handling and intelligent options mean that you can enjoy the Activ 805 Cruiser throughout the year.

Bavaria SPORT 360 Coupe
Here’s a European Debut for Bavaria from Clipper Marine. The Bavaria SPORT 360 Coupe has redefined the design of motor yachts and sets new standards in terms of driving dynamics, comfort and space. Besides the Open and Hardtop SPORT versions, Bavaria will be launching a new Coupe at the Southampton Boat Show.
Open, hardtop or as a coupe, the new SPORT 360 has become even more versatile. The entire cockpit was designed according to modern requirements and it has become a real social area on the boat. The seating area with cockpit table at the rear is a fantastic place for a relaxing drink or dinner with friends in the evening. During the day this area is easily converted in just a few steps to a fantastic and unusually large sun bathing area.
Exhibited by manufacturer Allures Yachts and broker Williams & Smithells this eye catching cruising yacht is making its UK debut at the show. The impressive Allures features an aluminium hull and lifting keel and composite superstructure designed for blue-water touring. The new 39.9 benefits from all the experience of building over 100 Allures lift keel yachts and follows the success of the 45.
This boat has been designed to be sailed single handed as a blue water cruiser, for maximum comfort under sail a fully battened main with mast slider system, and a hull almost as beamy as the 45 at 4.15m.
