Luxury catamaran specialist M.i.Cats relocates to Swanwick Marina
M.i. Cats has moved from Birdham near Chichester to Swanwick Marina in Southampton, Hampshire. Established over 22 years ago, M.i.Cats has grown to become a leading UK catamaran expert and a destination for anyone buying a new or pre-owned multihull yacht or power boat. The company is the world’s longest-serving Fountaine Pajot dealer – the sole UK agents for Fountaine Pajot luxury catamarans.
This means M.i. Cats offers a range of sleek, modern luxury cruising catamarans - from 35ft to 75ft power and sail vessels.
A thriving family business
In 1992 Carl Livett and his father Colin opened M.i.Cats for business. Keen sailors all their lives, they started in a small office in Port Solent Marina, and after quickly outgrowing their space, they then moved to Hayling Island.
In 2002 M.i.Cats moved to Birdham near Chichester where they remained until last month. The company has just completed its third move and has opened its doors at new offices in Premier Marinas’ £5.8m development at Swanwick Marina (pictured left).
“Since the beginning we have been focused on extolling the benefits of multihull designs to our customers, whether they have been looking for a blue water voyager, a family cruiser or a race-bred trimaran,” said Carl.
Along the way the company has become a one-stop-shop for every aspect of boat ownership from Sales, Finance, Commissioning and Delivery to Surveys, Repairs, Sailing School and Insurance.
Representing three of the world’s leading multihull brands, the team at M.i.Cats work hard to find the perfect boat for every customer, anything from a UK coast-hopper to charter management of a bigger boat in the Caribbean.
