Off Skipness Point: A Beautiful Story at Sea told through Twitter
London based illustrator and map maker Kerry Hyndman took to Twitter to share a stunning series of illustrations telling her grandfather’s story of when he was a boy at sea.
The series is named ‘Off Skipness Point’ and tells the tale of a stormy night in 1928 on a herring steamer as a 14-year-old Dr A.M Hyndman traveled along the west coast of Scotland.
Hydman chose to publish her illustrations using a new feature on Twitter called ‘Collections’ whereby she made a Twitter profile for each character and had them all be visible in one feed. Follow the story here.
