Scotland's Boat Show Kicks Off
Scotland's Boat Show kicks off today at Kip Marina in Inverkip. Running since 1989, it has become the UK’s third biggest boat show after Southampton and London.
Organisers are expecting over 12,000 visitors following a record attendance at last year’s event. Alongside the 140 boats on display for sale, visitors will be able to enjoy local food & drink, a country living marquee and a wide range of outdoor activities to try. RYA Scotland will be inviting members of the public to try sailing taster sessions and some lucky visitors will be able to have a go at Flyboarding.
The organisers hope to inspire a new generation of boat buyers by giving them the opportunity to experience them up close and hopefully realise that they aren't as unattainable as they might have previously thought.
