Sleek and luxurious - see inside the latest Princess 40M ‘Solaris’
We think you’ll relish this glimpse inside the stately Solaris, the latest Princess 40M from the M Class yacht range. The six cabin yacht was recently delivered to her owner and is the result of a collaboration project between the Princess Design Studio and Mark Berryman Design.
There's a great deal to be impressed by with this tri-deck semi-custom superyacht from Princess with its super sleek exterior and luxurious personalised interior.Recently on display at the Monaco Boat Show, Solaris boasts a state-of-the-art composite hull construction that is both strong and lightweight, delivering efficiency and speed. Fitted with twin MTU V12 2,938hp engines she can deliver speeds of up to 20 knots.
Boat International described the 40M as: "A yacht built to a standard that would put many more expensive yards to shame."
Luxury and style from stateroom to sun deck
The upper deck has become a dedicated owner's domain with a stateroom, seating area, separate office and en suite, all surrounded by large sections of glass for the most commanding and breathtaking views across the water. Through the stateroom's stainless-steel doors, a private deck is located aft with an intimate dining area and expansive seating. From here stairs lead to the main deck below or up to the sun deck.
The second master stateroom lies across the full beam of the main deck and enjoys a seating area, separate office and en suite. As with all M Class yachts, tall sections of glass run along each side for the most incredible views and light.
Design details add the personal touch
The saloon seating area is designed to easily accommodate up to 12 guests with balconies to port and starboard creating a spectacular living area. A separate dining area is located forward featuring a solid Macassar ebony table and finished in materials chosen from the expansive Princess Design Studio portfolio.
The lower deck accommodates four further en suite cabins, two double cabins aft and two twin cabins with sliding berths, as well as a fully Technogym-equipped gymnasium lying forward.
The top sundeck is fully equipped with a wetbar, twin barbecue, spa bath and lounging areas. At the bow, a long deep foredeck creates a private retreat when in port.
