Sunseeker 131 superyacht images revealed
Stunning new CGi images of the latest Sunseeker superyacht have been released by Sunseeker International. The Sunseeker 131 Yacht will be launching in January next year, featuring accommodation for up to 12 and a cruising range of 1,500nm between fuel stops when cruising at 10 knots.
The company says this is the first of four new models that Sunseeker plans to roll out for the 2015/16 model year.
Big demand for the131 model is expected, based on early interest from wealthy buyers. The Poole-based yacht builders have revealed that the first four Sunseeker 131 hulls have already been sold, and this means that further buyers will have to wait until November 2016 for their yachts.
Sean Robertson, sales director at Sunseeker International said: “The first four of these stunning yachts have already been sold to clients from the US, Turkey, UK and Hong Kong, underlining the strong demand and global appeal we’re seeing for this exciting new evolution in design. Investment in new product is at the heart of our business with this 131 Yacht being one of four new models in the 2015/16 model year.”
Build time for each new 131 Yacht is around one year, with capacity in place to have up to five yachts in build simultaneously.
The yacht design is based on the same platform as the 40M Yacht, but the new Sunseeker 131 boasts an extra two metres of upper deck space, allowing for a new bar and seating in the cockpit. A deep garage provides ample space for a six-metre tender and a pair of PWCs.
What’s clear is that the 131 is designed specifically for long-distance cruising, providing new owners with the top level of luxury accommodation expected of a Sunseeker.
Trio of vast hull windows
The on-board accommodation features five double cabins as standard, with the option to increase this to 12 should owners specify this.
A lovely feature that sets this beautiful motor yacht apart is the trio of vast hull windows that will create huge amounts of light into the master suite, saloon and upper saloon. As well as light-flooded rooms there will be stunning panoramic views from the Main Deck.
Robertson said: “We’re delighted to unveil these incredible new images of the 131 Yacht and show everyone what a special vessel it is going to be. It’s set to really build on the success of our proven 40 Metre Yacht, adding more technical innovation, more advanced features and contemporary layouts that can be tailored in every way to meet the needs of our most discerning customers.”
