The RYA Advanced Powerboat Handbook now available to buy
The Royal Yachting Association is a major publisher of books and eBooks, helping sailors and power boating enthusiasts get to grips with their chosen hobby. The organization has just launched a new handbook that is expected to be highly popular – as interest around it at the recent PSP Southampton Boat Show confirmed.
The ‘RYA Advanced Powerboat Handbook’ has been written by power boating expert Paul Glatzel and is the official text for the RYA Advanced Powerboat Course.
“This book addresses all aspects of syllabus, but it also looks beyond those aspects for commercial operators as well, providing even more detailed information for the advanced power boater,” said Glatzel at a Q&A this month at Southampton Boat Show.
The book covers many advanced subjects to do with power boating from handling in rougher waters, to Radar and AIS.
