As you climb aboard 'Oh Carol' you will notice that the cockpit is well laid out with seating for 4. A table is mounted centrally over the transom and a captains chair looks out through the windscreen at the helm which is set to port and has full engine instrumentation. The double door into the saloon is centrally mounted and a top hatch lifts off for ease of access.
As you step into the saloon area, immediately to port is the dinette area which will easily seat 4 around a table. Opposite are the heads and forward of these, the galley is situated. The saloon has plenty of storage with a good sized wardrobe inbetween the dinette and forward seating area. This area can be used as a seperate seating area or left as a bed as it is seperated by a curtain and bulkhead.
The heads contain a porta potti toilet and is a sensible size.
The beauty of this boat is that both hot water and central heating are fitted which is unusual for a boat of this size. Hot water is provided via a calorifier and the heating is from a propex gas warm air heater.
The berths are made up by a V double berth to the forward area of the cabin which is seperated by part bulkhead and part curtain for privacy. The dinette drops to convert into a double in the saloon area.
The galley is off to the starboard side and is well equipped. A stainless steel sink and drainer with hot and cold water is provided with storage underneath. To the right of this is a 2 burner gas hob, oven and grill, enabling cooking if required. Storage is also provided to the back of the galley area as well as plenty of cupboards.
Josulien comes complete with fenders and warps, a bruce style anchor with chain and davits mounted to the stern for a tender. An emergency outboard bracket is fitted on the transom.
Due to this vessel being a river cruiser, no navigation aids are fitted. A compass is provided however and navigation lights are fitted.
Fire fighting equipment is provided to Boat Safety Scheme requirements. Her Safety certificate expires in 2013. A gas detector is fitted in the saloon area.
Requiring cosmetic attention, this cruiser has diesel economy and plenty of space for 4. Complete with hot water and central heating. Excellent for a small family or as a starter boat with all the luxuries including a brand new canopy in October 2007.
