DESCRIPTION Register with Boatshed to see 35 extra photos of this Converted Coal Barge Liveaboard. Seldom does an opportunity such as this occur to acquire a wonderful liveaboard. Built in 1937 this was one of Hargreaves' first motorised coal barges and it was used to deliver coal to power stations in West Yorkshire. The current owners bought the hull in 2004 and had a new 10mm bottom, wheelhouse and superstructure fitted. Over the next 3 years the interior was installed and to a very high standard. It provides luxurious and comfortable permanent accomodation for 2 people, and there is space in the saloon and the wheelhouse for sofa beds for visitors. There is a full sized bathroom with corner bath and seperate shower cubicle, and the forecabin has a king size bed as well as a wall full of built in wardrobes. Owner moving abroard - quick sale needed. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
