Java Charter are delighted to offer what we consider to be the ultimate participation in Cowes Week - an amazing week of high quality sailing in the Solent.
Cowes Week is a major highlight in the sailing world and has been running since 1826, making it the world’s longest running regatta, as well as being one of Britain’s biggest and most famous annual sporting events.
Over 8000 competitors race in yachts in 40 classes in varied ‘round-the-cans’ courses. Entrants can be local, national or international and range from being complete novices to World and Olympic champions. There is a packed racing schedule with just over 30 races every day for the full 8 days.
Aside from the racing, there is a vibrant social scene that caters for everyone’s taste, with a wide variety of excellent shops, pubs and cafes to choose from. There is plenty to do day and night, with live music, a magnificent firework display, the Honda Dream Team air display and the renowned Guinness and Pimm’s tents!

Thames Barge, Alice
Experience the sedate pace of traditional sailing on this amazing vessel. Alice can accommodate up to 12 guests at sea, or up to 40 alongside, and has excellent catering facilities to provide the ultimate quisine.
Luxury Motor Cruiser
Enjoy the life of champagne, strawberies, and wall to wall luxury on board an impressive Flybridge Motor Cruiser. This capable craft can reach speeds of 28 Knots, and whisk you through the Solent, enabling you to venture much further and experience more locations than on a sailing craft.
