JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to expansion a leading publishing company that produce a number of well know sailing magazines are recruiting for an Advertising Sales Executive to work on both print and online publications. Candidates must have both Sailing and sales experienced (ideally in advertising).
This is a high profile role, selling print and web based advertising directly to clients and agencies, in the marine and other business sectors
You will be maintaining and developing an existing client base, both nationally and occasionally overseas. This will be done through a mixture of face to face presentations and telephone sales. You will keep accurate and detailed records of all client contact from the point of initial contact through to the close of sale.
You will also be responsible for identifying new clients for the company, A good understanding of the market and the ability to identify potential companies whose products and services are in keeping with the high profile of the magazines will be key to your success.
Candidates must be an outgoing team player who is computer literate, well organised and very self motivated. Sales experience and a good knowledge of the marine industry is also required to gain an interview for this role.
SALARY
Basic Salary of £15,000 –£20,000pa depending on experience plus Uncapped OTE Mobile phone
Health care after 12 months service
