The much admired twin hull design of the MotorCat 30 means that it is both fast and inherently stable, breaking through the waves more efficiently and providing a more comfortable ride. The foam flotation construction of its hulls mean that the boat is unsinkable, an important safety feature for any discerning yachtsman. The boats offers ample sleeping room for four together with stove, fridge and heads.
The award winning design combined with lightweight composite construction enables the boat to be driven by two 50hp outboard engines, easily cruising up to 21 knots using a fraction of the fuel of typical motorboats. The easy handling of the boat, with the outboards placed eight feet apart ensuring much better maneuvering in close quarter situations. One of the unique and really fun features of the MotorCat 30 is its ability to be beached; with only 14 inches draft the boat can easily access the shallow waters of creeks, rivers and beaches where the bow steps can be lowered to allow safe access ashore without the use of a dinghy.
