The design and construction of the MotorCat 30 offers a remarkable number of features not found on most compatible cruising boats. The twin outboard engines provide fast, comfortable cruising at a fraction of the cost of inboards with significantly more maneuverability due to them being mounted 8 feet apart. The award winning, unsinkable hull has been designed with the ability to beach without damage to the hulls and stern gear. The lightweight, sandwich construction of twin hulls means that the MotorCat can be trailed. The twin hulled, composite structure of the MotorCat 30 makes it extremely resilient and lightweight and therefore very small engines are required to power it. Speeds of up to 30 mph can be enjoyed using twin 75HP Evinrude ETECs. The MotorCat 30 offers a spacious 4-berth interior without the usual requirement of having to convert the saloon table.
