The Mark 1 MasterCraft ProStar 190 is still one of the best all round inboard tow boats on the market. The construction of this boat is in a different league to other "up to date" boats. With 100% fibreglass construction (no wooden floors or stringers to rot as in many even current ski/sportsboats). Also MasterCraft use solid composite stringer and a compression moulded floor liners to give absolute rigidity...unlike the hollow, glued-in stringers and fibreboard floors of some of MasterCraft's competitors which just have no strength.
The performance of this boat is still world class as well...with World Record approved slalom wakes which are low and soft above 28 mph...but grow to chunky, crisp boarding wakes with MasterCraft's classic transition and lip at slower speeds...add a little ballast and it is a fabulous wakeboard machine. As is the case with true inboard tow boats..speed holding is precise and tracking is laser accurate...if all you have experienced so far is the pull from an outboard or stendrive then this boat will blow your mind for watersports.
This boat benefits from having a BRAND NEW long motor fitted by us due to the previous engine being frost damaged. The engine is a 260hp 5.8 litre V8 petrol engine.
