Aphrodite is a unique Butty styled stern narrow boat built by Whittle Boat Builders in 1980.
The front deck is protected by a cratch and cover with locker seating either side and a coffee table at the front.
The Galley [Approx 7ft Lg] is situated at the front of the boat. To port is a 12v/240v Electrolux fridge and opposite a stand alone Valour Vanette full size cooker. Ample work top are and storage space is available.
The lounge [ Approx 13ft Lg] is fully carpeted and has bench seating to starboard which can be converted to a double berth. A drop leaf table is fitted under the gunwale with free standing armchair and cupboards opposite. Heating is provided by a solid fuel stove and 3 radiators fed by a gas fired boiler in the engine room. Optics and bookshelves are also fitted. Headroom is approximately 6ft 2ins.
The utility area [Approx 5ft 3 ins Lg] is set either side of the boat with the Thetford casette toilet cubicle to starboard and hip bath and shower to port. The doors open across the gangway to give privacy. Steps and a side hatch to port provide extra light and ventilation.
The rear bedroom [Approx 7ft Lg] has a fixed cross double berth [Approx 6ft 3ins Lg x 4ft Wide] with storage underneath and a vanity unit with wash basin ensuite.
The engine compartment is separate to the main living area and externally is classically styled as a butty rear end giving Aphrodite a unique appearance. There is also a long and short wooden tiller to steer the boat.
Aphrodite is fully equipped and comes ready to sail. She is ideal for exploring the inland waterway system.
