Materials & Construction
Each of our ranges are built to stringent in-house constraints using Lloyds approved materials, to ensure that all craft our capable of dealing with the most extreme sea conditions. We take pride in each and every V Rib manufactured, and want to ensure that the build quality is second to none.
An independent UK based surveyor is involved with each craft throughout the construction process. V Ribs can be produced to SOLAS equivalence, MCA and RCD specifications. If you have an individual or commercial requirement, V RIBS will aim to meet it.
Hull & Deck
The hull is based on legendary racing designs and manufactured with Lloyds approved materials. With high planning performance these boats have excellent maneuverability at all levels of speed. In this mould we can construct boats from 9m to 12m in length. Built-in M30 stainless steel lifting eyes rated at 6000kg each can be easily connected to lifting straps for easy launch and recovery from land, sea or air. Sealed under deck compartments add additional buoyancy. Fitted with 4 No stainless steel bollards and Lewmar offshore hatch to forward storage locker these RIBS are rated category B.
Cabin
The cuddy cabin has headroom of 1.8m and bench seating for 8 people. Entry is via a seaglaze watertight door. The bench seating area for 8 people can be easily changed to accommodate a large double berth. Removable bulkhead panels allow easy access to all electrical, steering and control equipment. Washable headlining and side panels together with water resistant carpeting, are extra with alternative interior designs available on request. The exterior has a stainless handrail to 3 sides allowing easy walking access around the cabin. Powder coated canopy fixed to the cabin allows cable access to Lights, Arial, Radar, GPS and Windex.
