This very attractive electric day launch has just completed a major refurbishment in 2008. It is built of mahogany on oak frames with a laid mahogany deck and varnished transom.
A 2.5kw SEM electric motor has just been fitted powered by 8 x 255Ah batteries with a 30A charger. The electric propulsion system was supplied by Rupert Latham of Stelco in Salhouse. It gives a good top speed and has the capacity to give a full day’s cruising range with no noise or pollution.
The burgundy acrylic canopy and sunshine roof were also new in 2008, as were the rattan-style seats and internal upholstery throughout.
All deck fittings are original and re-chromed in 2008, there are navigation lights, a 12v Klaxon horn, windscreen wiper, automatic bilge pump, 12v socket and Sony Marine stereo radio/CD/MP3 player with remote control.
The Boat Safety Scheme Certificate is valid until June 2012.
This is an opportunity to cruise the Broads (or other inland waterways) in tremendous style, quiet and comfort – there is no doubt that ‘Golden Arrow’ will get a lot of attention wherever she goes.
