Trad style narrowboat
Navarone was built to a high standard by the well respected Stem-to-Stern Boatbuilders on a Hixon Hull shell. Fitted in lovely, rich cherry wood (with plenty of character!) the boat has recently had a complete exterior repaint in 2-tone grey with maroon/red detail, and stylish signwriting of the name by Andy Russell. A recent hull survey shows the steelwork to be in excellent condition with only minimal thickness loss (0.2mm maximum) and the reblacking was completed during the docking. The interior is arranged to suit a long term cruiser with spacious living area forward (the accompanying picture shows 2 easy chairs which are not included in the sale and are shown purely as examples) including a galley with extensive work tops and cupboards, bright and clean, tiled shower room with new Thetford cassette, aft bedroom with storage above and below the bed (with its new interior sprung mattress). Equipment includes nearly new washing machine, Sterling inverter, Eberspacher diesel central heating, new 400w mono-crystalline solar panel system with Victron MPPT regulator, charging 4 new 110ah batteries, 12v led lighting (mostly new) throughout, aft canopy and forward cratch and cover and a new laminate floor throughout. The solid fuel stove and its tiled hearth have also been fully refurbished. The Vetus 415 diesel engine has just been fully serviced and new sterngear/propeller shaft fitted. This boat is absolutely ready to go, in lovely condition and looking fantastic. Ring for further details and viewing arrangements.
