Sailing BoatsMultihull SailboatsHeavenly TwinsMark III (we think)
As can be seen on the third photo, the port keel is cracked and coming away from the hull, and consequently there is some cracking and failure in the port hull, forward of the keel. Therefore, this is only suitable for someone with the fibreglass skills to undertake a repair that would pass inspection.
This damage caused the boat to sink on a tidal beach, so it was under water for two tides a day for a month or so. However, the boat was already completely stripped out in preparation for refurbishing, so there was nothing left to damage. The bare hull, after a power wash, would be a good starting point for someone to stamp their own personality on the interior..
It's believed to be a Mark III, and approximately 8m long and 4m wide. This Mark of Heavenly Twins is powered by an outboard motor (none included in the sale).
The boat is offered as seen, with no warranty, no sails and no rudders.
We have an offer of £500 but, despite its condition, we think it's worth more than that given its potential value in good condition, so will consider sensible offers. The mast, rigging and stainless steelwork alone must be worth more than that!!
Yard fees are £175 per month, held until April 2021, which will be the first opportunity to launch her.
That's all the information I have. I'm the contact point, as the owner is 100+ miles away! Viewing by appointment.
