A superb Fairey Swordsman aft cabin built in 1970 and fastidiously maintained over many years by knowledgeable owners.  The Vendor purchased the boat in 2005 - then known as 'Hamble Sword' - which was subsequently re-named 'Liberty'.

In Summer 2019 the boat travelled over 250 nautical miles.  N ow ashore near Poole in a custom-made shelter and with the regular tight cover fitted to protect the decks, cabin paint and exterior varnish.

Twin new Perkins M225Ti engines were fitted in 1998 with about 1150 hours since.  The vendor has new teak decks fitted in 2006 being 10mm deep with new marine ply substrate underneath.  Much history and details concerning many upgrades and improvements over the years.

All surfaces repainted in 2015    A cradle ensures easy lifting and launching.  A  Survey for insurance purposes was carried in Spring 2019.

    2.  Broker's informal comment.

It is well-known that rain and sunlight cause damage to wooden boats so there is a growing trend for boats to be fitted with all-over covers to protect the varnish and wood-work when not in use.

'Liberty' benefits from that small but carefully considered investment to provide protection from the elements.
