28ft Classic wooden Bermudian sloop, built 1959 by David Cheverton & Partners Isle of Wight. She is a Cheverton Campaigner, an enlarged version of the Crusader design.
Carvel planked construction of mahogany on oak all copper fastened. She has a curved stem, a long straight keel, a counter stern with a small transom. Eye catching water line.
in her present ownership since 2009.
She has an extensive amount of restoration works carried out on her by Kings Boatyard, Pin Mill. In 2020 a new rudder was commissioned. Spent last season on the water in commission.
Volvo engine 2003, was overhauled 2011 new engine beds, standing rigging replaced, new sails barely used in 2016.
Her interior fit out requires some finishing, its functional but incomplete. Standing headroom under dog house coach roof, marine ply decks epoxy sheathed. Self draining cockpit. Deck stepped mast which gives more workable space below, sea toilet. Foot pumped water supply to galley sink.
