    K. Christensen & Co., Norway - Colin Archer - Risør skøyte

    • K. Christensen & Co., Norway - Colin Archer - Risør skøyte

Classic looks, comfortable interior. Eos is a Colin Archer-type Risør skøyte, built as a fishing boat in Norway in 1932. Completely and splendidly restored by present owners in the Netherlands, relaunched in 2000. The restoration is done in the traditional way and much is newly made from 1990 onwards: the cabin tops, deck, rudder, mast, spars, rigging, sails, ballast, keelson, steel shoe under the keel, and the whole interior. Several planks and frames have been replaced then and also recently. She is a pleasant home for cruising and living on board. The separate aft cabin makes her also suitable for chartering.

Now for sale because of health reasons, but Eos herself is still strong enough for many active years and she is ready for a new owner to continue her travels and to be admired where ever she goes.
