Sailing BoatsCruisersBeneteauOceanis 350
This is a much loved family boat we have owned for the last 12 years and are only selling as the prospect of grandchildren means we need more space. She has been out of the water every winter with annual antifouling/ replacement of anodes and engine servicing with new filters and oil every year. There is an old but faithful Avon inflatable in good condition without any leaks. The rigging is all in very good condition with replacement of all running ropes every few years. The Bimini seen in the photos under sail was temporarily removed as we rarely have too much sun in Scotland but is included and in good condition.
All photos were taken this summer apart from those under sail that were taken a few years ago.
We bought her in Lisbon and sailed back to Scotland. The original Bill of Sale (in both Portuguese and English) as well as a detailed list of all expenses paid since purchase is available. There is up to date small ships registration.
The Oceanis 350 came with 2 layouts – ours has the single very large double berth on the portside which will accommodate 4 teenagers. This design results in a huge starboard cockpit locker as well as a descent size locker on the port side as well as a large heads/ shower. In addition to the standard design, as can be seen in the photos, the port cabin berth can be extended into a wider single (or cozy double) berth and a removable shelf added above the port side storage areas to provide a pipe cot / additional storage area: an adult can just about squeeze in but children love it!
The Eberspacher heater is D4 and was completely serviced with a new mother board and exhaust system a couple of years ago and provides almost instant warmth.
The hot water is harvested from engine cooling through a heat exchanger and has a large 40litre tank with mains immersion heater. In the heads is hot and cold water with shower which drains to the bilge and a hot water shower is available on the transom – perfect after a swim!
In summary she is a well maintained boat but the asking price reflects that in some places she is becoming a little tired: some of the main cabin cushions are becoming a bit worn (as can be seen in the photos) and while there are no signs of wear, the standing rigging might ideally be replaced again soonish
As a separate negotiation, there is a private swinging mooring available in Oban (Cardingmill Bay) which is in a prime position, close to the sailing club and of course saves a large amount of money in annual mooring fees.
(although also happy to deliver her almost anywhere in Europe)
