An excellent opportunity to purchase a high specification Cornish Crabbers Crabber 22 Gaff Cutter which has clearly been very well looked after. Meander is in excellent condition, benefits from a larger replacement Yanmar 2YM15 engine fitted in 2013 and comes complete with a custom 4 wheel galvanised braked trailer, all ready to enjoy. Accommodation
The accommodation offers up to four berths in two cabins. Forepeak consisting of a small twin V berth with Jabsco marine toilet and stowage lockers beneath. Saloon with settee berths either side of a fixed central table with folding leaves. Galley area aft with useful stowage, sink with manually pumped cold water supply to port and Plastimo Neptune 2500 2-burner cooker with grill to starboard. Burgundy velour upholstery in saloon.
Mechanical Systems
Located abaft the companionway, Yanmar 2YM15 2-cylinder 14hp diesel engine (new 2013). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Stainless steel 41 litre fuel tank. Shaft drive to fixed 3-bladed propeller. The engine was upgraded to a Yanmar 2YM15 as currently specified on new Crabber 22s and is in excellent condition having been lightly used since installation, having run for just 140 hours.
Electrical Systems
2 x 12v Batteries (new 2019) charged via engine alternator. Full cabin lighting.
Sails and Spars
Gaff rigged cutter. Varnished mast, boom and bowsprit. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Schaefer 550 roller furling yankee and staysail systems. All lines led aft to cockpit via jammers and clutches. Mainsheet traveler. Lewmar halyard winch. The bowsprit is fully retractable to reduce the overall length in marinas. Construction
Cornish Crabbers Crabber 22 built in 1997 by Cornish Crabbers to a design by Roger Dongray. White/cream GRP hull (epoxy coated from new), superstructure and moulded fawn coloured non-slip decks. Teak rubbing strake. Shallow long keel with encapsulated ballast and lifting keel. Tiller steering to keel hung rudder. Aft self draining cockpit.
