Here we have one of the last Fairline Turbo 36's ever made - in fact, the fourth last to have been made! We believe this one to be a 1992 and they stopped being produced the following year. 'Askett Lady' has been owned by the current owners for many years and they have really looked after her. The owners describe ‘Askett Lady’ as a well-loved boat. Their reason for selling is that they are, regrettably, now just about ready to retire from boating . The classic Fairline Turbo 36 is a great sea boat with fabulous accommodation. This is one of the last ones made, with the largest engine option: twin Volvo Penta TAMD61A 306 HP's. These engines give the boat a good cruising speed of about 18knots. The boat comes with an Avon 2.4m Rigid hull tender with a 15hp Yamaha outboard which sits on the boats’ Stainless steel davits. This boat has been very well kept by her current and 2 previous owners. The current owners have serviced her every season and have always laid her up correctly in the winter months, including the use of dehumidifiers inside. This boat benefits from recent new carpets inside, synthetic teak decking and there is also a new chart plotter which was fitted recently. The spacious and airy saloon is well presented; there is a double dinette to starboard, an L-shaped settee to port and elegant detailing to the companionway steps. This is a unique boat and it must be viewed. This boat is still being used by the owners and she is now back in the water (launched April 2019). If you wish to view her, kindly ring for an appointment before travelling. The layout and design of this Turbo 36 includes: The cockpit is a very sociable space and it has seating for many (the cushions are currently not on display). The flybridge is accessed by a set of wide steps with a hand rail to one side. It has a double helm seat and seating which can be converted to a sun lounger. The large airy saloon has an L-shaped settee, a double dinette and a lower helm position. The galley has a stainless-steel sink, pressurised hot and cold water, fridge, 4-burner gas hob, oven and grill, extractor fan and storage cupboards. This is a four-berth boat and the accommodation is provided in two cabins. The lovely aft master stateroom has an island double berth and it is fitted out with mirrors, windows, a deck hatch, wall-lights, en-suite heads with a toilet, washbasin and a shower with great headroom. The second toilet compartment forward is fitted out with a toilet, a handbasin and a separate shower – again, with great headroom. The forward cabin has a convertible V berth and, as with the aft master, it has windows, storage space, a deck hatch and is a bright, comfortable area.
