She has been lifted out every year and the antifouling maintained to a good standard annually. She has a lead antimony keel and flush fitting Landamore seacocks for heads and bilge.
Accommodation
Autonomy is a spacious boat with unusually generous accommodation for her length. She benefits from a bridge deck arrangement and sleeps eight in three cabins. There is excellent storage including two full length hanging lockers, a variety of cupboards and lockers behind and under berths. Her interior is teak and teak veneer and hull linings are in teak strips. She has good headroom throughout. She is well lit with mostly LED lights and the option of red night-vision lighting in the saloon and navigation area.

Deck
The deck is well laid out and spacious because of the low profile coach roof. Controls are led to the cockpit, to winches which are all by Lewmar and to Spinlock clutches. Autonomy has a deep cockpit which is safe and comfortable in any seaway and narrow enough to allow crew to brace against the opposite seats. There are adequate clip-on points throughout. She has wheel steering and a cambered helmsman’s seat. Autonomy has named cruising dodgers and a cruising spray hood which attaches over the companionway. There is also a complete cockpit cover which zips to the back of the sprayhood and suspends under the boom. Creates an extra room when at anchor.

Owner’s Comments
During the 16 years of owning and sailing Autonomy, she has done everything and more than we could have asked of her. We have cruised her extensively as a family and enjoyed the odd bit of club racing. She has brought a great deal of enjoyment to everyone who has sailed on her. She is reluctantly for sale as we no longer race her and have bought another boat to pursue longer distance cruising. We are sure that her new owner will enjoy Autonomy’s qualities to the utmost.
Reluctantly for sale as we now have another boat, and tempting though it is to keep he in reality we don't want 2 boats!
