    Accommodation comprises: Total five plus* berths. Coach-house living area (*seating can be used as additional bunks); galley with further dining area, two cabins – one full size double and one bunk size double both with plenty of hanging space and solid mahogany dressing tables, shower room with basin and toilet, additional separate toilet accessed from main cabin.

    Powered by twin Ford Parson diesel engines maintained by an ex-naval engineer. Viewings are highly recommended.

    Designed and built by James & Caddy in 1966 as a gentleman’s launch. Charlemagne is in very good condition and runs well on coastal and cross channel day and night excursions.


    - Hull planked mahogany on oak frames. GRP sheathed hull below waterline, three coats of anti foul 2018. Anodes (new 2018)

    - Teak on marine plywood sub deck.
    - Oiled (Owatrol D1 & 2) teak handrails.
    - Coachhouse: mahogany, painted externally with waxed internal finish.
    - Galley area with bronze portholes.

    At deck level there is plenty of space for entertaining with an area for seating.
    Two deck storage lockers, plus gas locker.

    Both starboard and port access via step into:

    Main saloon:
    Forward facing chart desk to starboard.
    Settee- berths either side with storage below, starboard side has L shaped seating area around teak dining table.

    Forward into Galley via mahogany steps.
    Ample storage. Dometic cooker (new 2019) with oven and hob with three ring burners. Stainless sink with hot and cold water. Plinth heater, LED and spot lighting. Access to forward locker, ample storage. V shaped seating area with storage beneath. Infill provides additional sleeping area.
    Towards aft: Step down to companion way with access to cabins and heads/shower room. Taylors heater and electric plinth heater installed.

    Aft Cabin with double bed with drawers below. Beautiful solid mahogany dressing table, drawers below.
    Hanging and storage space. Door to sea toilet.

    Second Cabin with double bunk/full size bed with drawers below. Mahogany dressing table with drawer below and mirror above. Wardrobe and hanging space.

    Electronics/navigation equipment
    DSC radio, radar, GPS depth and fish-finder, anemometer, clock/barometer, battery health gauges, Sterling battery charger (2018), four engine batteries, four domestic batteries (new 2018). Autohelm. Multispeed windscreen wipers to port and starboard (2018).
    240 v LED’s throughout, plus additional 12 v lighting; 24v – 230 v 600 watt inverter. 240 v Hot water heater.
    Smoke alarm, LPG alarm, CO¬2 alarm.

    Safety Equipment
    LED port and starboard navigation lights, other mandatory navigation lights, search light, fixed horn, horse-shoe buoys x 2, Perry buoy, throwing-line, swim ladder. Fire extinguishers. Fenders. Anchor, Windlass (requires new motor).

    Bespoke (removable) deck covering in light waterproof canvas, with stainless steel supports, from bow to coach house entry points (new 2018).
