Windsong - Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 lift keel, 2003, lying Nairn, UK for sale in pristine condition.
Windsong has all the comforts that are expected of a serious cruising yacht. A comprehensive specification includes hot air cabin heating, hot and cold water, showers, shore power, refrigerator, autopilot, radar, electric windlass and self stowing anchor with 60m of chain for serious cruising, dinghy and outboard davits, walk-through access to boarding/bathing platform with shower and ladder, all sail controls to cockpit multiple alarm systems, extensive electronic navigation etc etc.
Windsong has been very carefully maintained and improved by her meticulous and knowledgable previous owner with too many improvements and modifications to builder's specs to list here but including annual wintering ashore with full maintenance - antifouling, anodes, engine flush, oil change, etc
Windsong has been cruised around the UK, Norway, The Outer Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland, Fair Isle, round Cape Wrath and Lands End, through the Irish Sea and to countless idyllic local spots. She will take you cruising in comfort and safety, blue water or shallow creeks, with every conceivable extra and is ready to go.
The Sun Odyssey 35 Legende designer Marc Lombard has produced a classic cruiser.
She is quick, well mannered and easy to handle by a short handed crew with a furling genoa and slab reefing. All lines are led back to the cockpit. Cruising chute and all deck fittings, including demountable bowsprit, mast stowed spinny pole(inboard end always attached for single handed operation) are fitted.
Her great sailing characteristics are matched by her spacious interior done out in quality joinery throughout and light coloured upholstery which gives her interior space a bright open feel.
She is the Lifting Keel version so, with a minimum draft of 0.9m, she can search out the shallowest of anchorages and would be perfect for a trip through the French canals to the Med. With the keel down her draft is 2.16m which gives her great upwind sailing ability.
Windsong has a complete, fully integrated and networked electronics package including a Raymarine Tri-data , Raymarine ST60+ Wind, Radar, AIS, DSC VHF radio including a wired second station handset at the binnacle, Raymarine SPX5 Wheel Drive Autopilot and much more
