Sailing BoatsCruisersNajadModel 391
Designed by Georg Nissen and built to Lloyds specifications the Najad 391 has graceful and stylish lines together with excellent seagoing qualities. Surazo is very comfortable for long stays on board and a good, stable sailing yacht for long distance cruising. She has the single heads to starboard, coupled with the standalone dedicated shower in the forward cabin. This is a particularly nice feature for the owner-couple, intending to cruise for extended periods.

Prior to 2014 Surazo was owned by a German couple, kept on the German Baltic coast and sailed locally each summer. The yacht was professionally maintained and for the winters, lifted out, mast stepped and the boat stored under cover in a shed. The current owner bought her in May 2014, sailed her back to Dartmouth and has cruised the UK south coast, Channel Islands, French and Spanish Atlantic coasts in the last six summers. She is an excellent cruising boat for a couple, easily managed with the electric winches, furling gear, cockpit reefing, bow thruster and reliable engine. The Najad 391 is one of the few boats in this size that has a dedicated standalone stall shower, a very nice feature for those who like to spend more than a few days cruising. Surazo has been maintained to a high standard with the hull copper coated in 2017, standing rigging replaced in 2015, engine and generator regularly serviced (latest October 2019), and many features upgraded in the last few years. The specification of this boat is complete with a long list of items to make cruising a comfortable and pleasurable experience.
