Hello and welcome to the reluctant sale of our 30ft Seamaster motorboat, unfortunately our circumstances have changed, meaning we will be unable to continue to keep her.
We have owned over 10 boats over the years, slowly improving and restoring each one up to as built standard or better along the way, and this one was, going to be, our for keeps boat, we had planned to do the same but unfortunately this is not now an option.
She sat most of last year due to covid, and did not get any use, so last week we placed her with our boatyard workshop for them to go through her and clean her and get her ready for selling.
They gave her a good wash down inside and out, fitted 2 x new 130amp starter batteries and she was away!
She is a very solid well-built boat and with her twin engines handles lovely, turning on her own length when needed.
She has full river licence paid up till April next year and she is ready for use for the rest of this season and would have been being used now! if our circumstances had not changed!
She could also come with the mooring! subject to the new owner agreeing this with the marina and of course paying the fee. I am told moorings as well as boats are extremely hard to find on the broads now, so this would be a bonus for any new owner! She is currently on the southern broads.
She has a Digital tv/radio, shower, electric flush toilet, holding tank and divert valve for when you are at sea only. Electrically Pumped Hot & Cold water, shower, diesel heating in all cabins, she is very spacious inside & all round.
Cosmetic wise she will require lifting at the end of the season re-antifouling and polishing of the gel coat hull, she would also benefit from some re-varnishing of woodwork, re-painting on her deck and top sides, this is what we had planned to do, but it would be all purely cosmetic, there is some damage to the bow fender trim & a couple of bits of rubbing strake which I have been quoted no more than 3 . hundred to put right properly by our boat yard, this could be done when she is next lifted.
We are in no hurry to sell her and will certainly not be giving her away! If you are looking for something for next to nothing look elsewhere! She is available at as close to asking price of 19,500, to serious genuine bidders who are looking for a serious genuine boat You must have the funds and be able to pay an immediate deposit upon reaching an agreeable price with us, a river trial will only happen after this.
We are genuine boaters and invite genuine people only! We are open to sensible & realistic offers, but only from people who have viewed her first, with respect please do not waste your time putting offers through ebay, they will be declined.
I Think that is about it for now, but we will add more if we have missed anything, please see below for further specs.
